A Hat-trick of New Frenzee Team Members

We are delighted to welcome three new additions to the Frenzee Team - Ryan Laycock, Harry Michael and Luke Simcox - with all three of them having a fantastic year so far!

A bit more about them...

RYAN LAYCOCK

Ryan has had a superb couple of years, qualifying for the Fishomania Final in 2021 and a Parkdean Finalist in 2019. This year he's qualified for the Fish North Final that takes place on the 17th September. This year his focus has been on the big money matches, placing 3rd in a Fishomania qualifier and narrowly missing out on the top spot to get through. You can find Ryan regularly fishing at Hallcroft Fishery and his record here is exemplary with him winning the opens on many occasions where his favourite tactics are shallow fishing and edge fishing for those big carp.

HARRY MICHAEL

Harry becomes the youngest angler in our team and at only 16 years of age he is having an awesome year so far.

Harry began fishing junior matches at 6 years of age and progressed into seniors by the age of 13, whilst regularly framing in 40 peg matches. In 2019, he decided to throw himself into the open match circuit and proudly boasts plenty of match wins.

Harry recently won a second team gold medal in the Youth Nationals, having already won gold and silver previously. Not only is he good on a commercial, but also fishing on rivers for barbel, where this year he landed a beast at 10lb 7oz during a massive 19 fish haul on the River Swale.

LUKE SIMCOX

Luke has only been fishing commercials for 6 years and is already showing he is more than capable in the matches he fishes. With plenty of framing places and match wins throughout his short time match fishing, along with the Smithy Angling Centre Spring and Winter leagues on the bounce, there is plenty more to come from Luke, who just narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Fishing Association Final this year.

We're pleased to have all three on board to help promote the Frenzee brand whilst also helping fellow anglers along their journey.
