Most Memorable moment in Fishing
It must be qualifying for the Golden Reel Final at Barston Lakes back in 2017. It was my first time winning a big-money qualifier and getting to a final. I drew peg 58 that day which is not generally the go to peg you would want. I had a walk around in the morning to see there was plenty of fish showing. My approach was the method feeder and pellet waggler that proved to be a perfect choice as I went on to win with a weight of 110lb, which was by a 40lb margin and get me into that first final.
Favourite style of fishing
The short pole line can be a deadly way of fishing, and I love fishing this with meat or pellets as the stamp of fish on this line are mostly big. You can quite easily come from nowhere in a match to win on this line. It has done so many times in the past for me.
Best Achievement
Qualifying for the Golden Reel Final on two occasions was such a buzz for me so, that is always my number one. In my younger days becoming the captain of the Wales Youth Team.
Ambitions in Fishing
They always say the third time is lucky, so for me getting to another big-money final such as the Golden Reel, Maver Match This or Parkdean Final would be the icing on the cake if I were to go and win.
