Most Memorable moment in Fishing
Representing your country was always my deep burning ambition, so the day I was asked by the then management (Mark Downes & Mark Addy) to be involved with the England team in the Holme internationals was such a special moment for me personally.
Favourite style of fishing
This is a tough question as I love the challenge of all styles of fishing from bleak fishing to margin carp fishing, however, if there was a last fishing trip it would be stood in the water wearing a bait apron full of bronze maggots with a stick float in hand fishing for small chunky roach, you know… the ones you shouldn’t swing!
Best Achievement
Winning the Preston Innovations 2001 Festival at White Acres, to win or frame in any of these festivals here is such a difficult task with so many top anglers competing on a variety of methods. I then went on to win another 4 festivals at White Acres of all were great experiences, but that first festival win felt the best.
Ambitions in Fishing
Fishing around and against the younger generation of anglers with their youthful methods and energy keeps my fishing juices flowing. I know I have got another major title left in me, so let’s see what the future holds.
